Pearl M. Burgin Sunrise 07/20/21 Sunset 05/02/05 Pearl Maxine (Netter) Burgin was born July 20, 1921, the youngest of 14 children, (all of whom are deceased), of the late Naomi Harris and Elmer Netter. She attended Chillicothe Schools and at the age of 19 married Edward Jenkins of Toledo, OH, who preceded her in death. Of this union, one son was born, Garreth Gowaine. She later married the late Joseph Burgin. She raised two step-sons, John and Carl Burgin. She was a faithful member of the Glorious Church of God In Christ. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 6 sisters, Wetus, Scott, Coy, Pearlie, Floyd, Ecky, Worley, Agustus, Mayme, Gladys, Mary (Mollie), Mable, and Tula. She is survived by her son Garreth (Mary) and step-sons John and Carl (Elenor) all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Vanessa Jenkins, Nancey (Derrick) White of Philadelphia, Shane, Jamil, and Carl Jr. of Chillicothe; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; and a multitude of extended family members. A special acknowledgement to Katleen Netter, Edith Sewards, Helen Scales and Helen Sanders. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday in the Glorious Church of God in Christ, Bishop Melvin Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call 11-1 Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home.
