Paula Gayle Neal, 57, of Chillicothe, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 19, 2023 at the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born July 12, 1966 in Ironton, Ohio, daughter of the Late George D and Nellie M (Steed) Neal Sr.
Surviving is her son Benjamin (Natashia) Neal of Chillicothe, one granddaughter who was the light of her life, Olivia Neal. Three Siblings, Etta Faye Pilaia, Ruth Moore, both of Chillicothe, and George (Cindy) Neal of Liberty IN, numerous nephews, nieces and extended family members, as well as her special friend Ralphie Dixon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister's Brenda Oney and Rachel (Carlson) Barnes.
Paula was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1985. She went on to one of her true passions teaching children as a pre-school teacher. She previously attended both First Free Will Baptist & New Hope Free Will Baptist Churches where she spent her Sunday mornings singing her favorite hymns to the church.
A Funeral Service for Paula will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery, Ray OH. The family will receive friend from 10:00 am until 12noon.
