Paul Stephens

Paul Willis Stephens, 80, of Chillicothe, went to be with his Lord and Savior, 12:30 am, Sunday, August 21, 2011. He was born July 2, 1931 in Waverly, OH to the late William and Jettie White Stephens. On October 7, 1973 he married the love of his life, Nancy K. Bucy, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Nanette K. Waller, of Chillicothe and Paul T. Stephens, of Columbus; three sisters, Martha (James) Bates, Alice Swank, and Helen (Clarence) Starkey, all of Waverly; several nieces; nephews; great-nieces and nephews; a special cousin, John Stevens; and special friends, Connie and Mike Fry and family, Bill and Chris Horsley and family, and the Redding family. He was preceded in death a sister, Lois Presley. Paul retired from Big Bear Stores and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the River's Gate Fellowship Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor Roger Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm Wednesday at Haller's.
