Paul Routt

Paul E. Routt Paul E. Routt, 81, of Chillicothe, passed away 7:20 pm Wednesday, December 13, 2006 in the Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born January 13, 1925 in Ross Co. to the late Park Welcher and Jessie Bland Routt. While serving in the US Army in France, during World War II, Paul met and married Marie Helene LeDonge. After his discharge in 1948, they returned to Chillicothe where they lived until his wife's death in 1995, following 49 years of marriage. Survivors include his two sons, Michael P. (Charlotte) Routt and Patrick A. Routt, both of Chillicothe; a daughter, Linda M. (Frank) Johnston, of Wilmington, OH; 6 grandchildren, Brian, Cristy, Patrick A., Tiffany, Patrick J. and Jennifer; and 6 great-grandchildren. He will be forever loved and missed by his friends and family. Paul work for the Mead Paper Corporation for almost 40 years, retiring in 1986. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Monday in St. Mary Church, Rev. Lawrence Hummer Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 pm Sunday at Haller's, where a wake service will be held at 4:00 pm.
