Paul Moore

Paul E. Moore, 62, of Lucasville, died 10:49 pm, Friday, October 12, 2012, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, following an extended illness. He was born December 5, 1949 in Scioto County to Otis and the late Edna Allen Moore. On December 12, 1969 he married the former Saundra Kay Leedom, who survives. In addition to his wife and father, survivors include a daughter, Carrie (Eric) Nichols, of Lucasville; a son, Michael (Sandy) Moore, of Chillicothe; five grandchildren, Noah and Gabriel Nichols, Madison and Justin Moore, and Sam Middlebrooks; a sister, Karen (Al) Fundaburk, of Bloomsburg, PA and a brother, David (Sharon) Moore, of Willow Spring, NC. He was preceded in death by his mother. Mr. Moore taught English for 30 years at Waverly High School. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed camping and travelling. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
