Paul F. Langhirt, 75, of Chillicothe died 3:08 pm, Monday, November 27, 2017, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born April 24, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to the late Robert J. and Genevieve A. Dufala Langhirt. Survivors include his children, Debbie (Jon) Rausch, of Marysville and Paul F. (Shelley) Langhirt Jr., of Columbus; six grandchildren, Mary (Adrian Young) Snyder, David (Amy) Snyder, Nathan Rausch, Zach Rausch, Nigel Langhirt and Gunnar Langhirt; a sister, Carol (Robert Everett) Sky; two brothers, Bruce (Cynthia) Langhirt and Eric (Jim Barnett) Langhirt; two sisters-in-law, Dawn and June Langhirt; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Mack Langhirt. Paul owned and operated Duffy Electric, and was a member of New England Lodge 4 F& AM, Aladdin Shriners, the Ross Co. Shrine Club, Chillicothe Noon Rotary, the NRA and the Ross Co. Conservation League. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, doing family genealogy, tinkering and making sure he fed as many hummingbirds as possible. A memorial service, conducted by Scioto Lodge 6 F& AM, will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Haller's. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ross Co. Shrine Club, PO Box 371, Chillicothe, OH 45601, for benefit of the Shriner's Hospitals, in his honor.
