Paul W. Jackson, 86, of Chillicothe, died November 22, 2021, at his residence, following an extended illness. He was born November 7, 1935 in Beaver, OH to the late Richard E. and Elizabeth M. Scales Jackson. On May 7, 1954 he married Gloria D. "Deanie" Cooper, who died March 30, 2019. Survivors include three children, Charlene Neff, Toni (Danny) Cooper and Kevin Bayless; eight grandchildren, Steven Jackson, Tamika Butler, Jeremy (Jenny) Brown, Tiara (James) Wingo, Aaron Cooper, Brittney Cain, Chaz Cain and Phillip Bayless; 21 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Alice Jean Harris and Richard (Judy) Jackson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Cousins, Danny, Ricardo (Sherlan), and David (Felicia) Carpenter; a special "son", Jerry (Shirley) Carpenter; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Timothy Neff; a sister, Joann McNeal; and three brothers-in-law, Earl Harris, Douglas Cousins; and Gary McNeal. Mr. Jackson was a Hearing Officer for Franklin County, OH. He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the BIC, Scioto Elks Lodge, and coached little league baseball. He also enjoyed bowling, grilling and cooking, and reading James Patterson books. His memorial service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, December 4, 2021, at The Original Glorious Church of God in Christ, 123 W. Main St., Chillicothe.
