Paul L. Bosworth Paul L. Bosworth, 82, of Chillicothe, died at home, surrounded by his family at 6:15 pm, Wednesday, November 29, 2006 following a brief illness. He was born August 14, 1924 in Crooksville, OH to the late Orris O. and Alta M. (Smith) Bosworth. He was predeceased by his first wife, Agnes Ann Thompson, who died on August 12, 1982. He married Sharon Kay Barnhart on January 19, 2002, who survives. Also surviving is a step-son, Donald (Jackie) Barnhart; a step-daughter, Rebecca (Gregory) Pummill; 5 step-grandchildren, Alexandria Barnhart, Lani Wilhelm Fisher, Aubrey and Megan Pummill, Christopher Barton; sisters-in-law, Clara Lee Ward, Betty Potter, Mona (Bob) Boggs, and Mary Lou (James) Strawser; brothers-in-law, Ray (Donna) Thompson, and Gary (Joann) Knecht; nieces, Vicki Lee Burt and Rebecca Potter; and nephews, Bill Potter and Tim Thompson; as well as several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Bud Thompson and Lewis (Dorothy) Knecht. Mr. Bosworth was a World War II Navy Veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post 757 and AMVETS Post 4. He was employed by the VA Medical Center and later by Goodyear Atomic, for thirty years, where he was an Administrative Specialist CIP/CUP Procurement Coordinator. He was an avid NASCAR and Indy Car racing fan and enjoyed golfing, gardening, and photography. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday in the Haller Funeral Home, with Rev. Bruce Viar officiating. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call 6-8 pm Friday (today) at Haller's.
