Paul Austin

Paul R. "Richie" Austin, 64, of Columbus, formerly of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly July 6, 2005, in his residence. He was born March 30, 1941, in Ross Co. to the late Joseph L. and Iva Myrtle Johnson Austin. Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law Larry (Wilmetta) Austin, Chillicothe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by sisters: Susan, Lillian, Eugenia, Virginia, and Ruth Ann; and brothers: Robert, Joseph, Jr., Christopher, Gordon, and Theodore. Paul was an US Air Force Veteran. He attended Floral Baptist Church and Zion Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at Noon, Monday, July 11, at the Haller Funeral Home, with Rev J. Troy Gray and Rev. Steve Ragland officiating. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 3-5pm at Haller's and 1 hour prior to the funeral on Monday.
