Patti A. Junk Patti A. Junk, 77, of Chillicothe, died Tuesday February 24, 2009, in Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. She was born January 3, 1932, in Chillicothe, to the late Adam Moody and Edna Gertrude Wenfough Schwart. On October 3, 1955, she married Thomas M. Junk, who preceded her in death on December 6, 1983. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Lori (Randy) Cunningham; grandchildren: Tricia Junk; Nadine (Jim) Casebolt; Kasey Cunningham and her husband Michael Hanson, all of Chillicothe; great-grandchildren: Breanna, Kylie, Colten, Roni, Ashton, Lauren, Kyla, Bryce and Jayden; and her faithful companion Super Dawg Tobias "Toby". She was predeceased by her son Tommy Junk; brothers Harold and Walter "Bub" Schwart; and her sister Jean Fawcett. Patti was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1950. She was a member of Walnut St. United Methodist Church. She was a life member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 108, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 62, the AmVets, Post 4, the Republican National Committee Presidential Trust, the Women's Auxiliary of the MOC, and a charter member of the World War II Memorial. She had worked as a legal secretary for Attorney John Blair for over 35 years. Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday February 28, 2009, in the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Lori Lossie officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, OH. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 pm at Haller Funeral Home.
