Patrick Nihiser

Patrick R. Nihiser, 61, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly at 5:36am May 22, 2024, at his residence.

He was born January 15, 1963, in Chillicothe, the son of the late Howard H. and Marilyn K. (Miller) Nihiser.

He is survived by his son Joshua Nihiser, Chillicothe; his sisters: Stephanie Searls, of South Carolina, and Linda (Mike) Hurless, of Frankfort; nieces and nephews: Emma, Meghan and David Hurless; Robert and Jason Stitchberry; and several extended family members.

Patrick graduated from Chillicothe High School, Class of 1981.  He served in the US Marine Corps and had worked for Lightle Enterprises.  He enjoyed riding his bicycle, especially on the bike path between Chillicothe and Frankfort.  Patrick also enjoyed making custom knives.  A craft he excelled at earning him Best New Knife Maker in 2001.

Private graveside inurnment services will be conducted at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Haller Funeral Home.
