Patrick Wesley McFadden, 35, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 7, 2022. Patrick was born on July 12, 1986, in Chillicothe, Ohio. He graduated from Unioto High School in 2004 and went on to get his Bachelor's degree in Communication from Ohio University. He then went on to continue his education at the University of Illinois, where he received his Masters degree in Communication. Along the way, he was on the Dean's List numerous times. From there, he was accepted into the Peace Corps as a Volunteer in Education where he served in the Philippines. After leaving the Peace Corps, Patrick served as a Communications Manager in numerous roles, finally landing a position he was very passionate about as a Manager of Communications and Training at Prevention Action Alliance in Columbus. Patrick was a caring and loving father to Corbin Wesley McFadden. He treasured Corbin and embraced every moment with him. Not only was Patrick very intelligent, he also had a spirited personality and always made those around him laugh. He loved traveling, playing guitar and anything to do with music. If Patrick was around, there was always going to be music! His family and friends were essential in his life and he was always surrounded by love. Surviving are: his son Corbin Wesley McFadden, of Middleburg, FL; his mother and step-father Victoria (Tom) Pierce; his father Kenneth McFadden and companion Anna West; his maternal grandparents Shelley (James) Ricketts and Donald (Carolyn) Ault; his sister Amy (Joshua) Hatfield, of Chillicothe; his brother Josh (Kaitlyn) McFadden, of Lucasville; niece and nephews: Reese Hatfield, Chloe McFadden, Cade McFadden, and Ace Ervin; step-siblings Eric (Nicole) Pierce and daughter Kenleigh, Lindsey Pierce, and Chris (Sophie) Pierce; aunts and uncles Gary (Debbie) McFadden, Robert (Melody) McFadden, Jr., Linda (Michael) Harrington, Tammy (Dale) Sorrell, and Sherri Ault; and many close friends which he loved. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents Robert (Alma) McFadden and cousin Carrie Ann McFadden. His funeral service will be held at 6pm Tuesday, April 12, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends from 5-6pm at the funeral home.
