Patricia "Pat" Diane (Elliott) Watters, born August 14, 1943, passed away September 1, 2025, due protracted dementia and other illnesses. She was the daughter of James W. Elliott and Clarabelle M. (Spindler) Elliott, who preceded her in death. She married Jerry G. Watters on 12/10/1962, who passed away on March 23, 2025.
They had three children: Coyt (Linda) Watters, Carol Kalb, and Cheri (Scott) Hamilton; six grandchildren: Maia, Erica, Elliott, Josh, William, and Hope. She had several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Connie; her parents-in-law Virgil E. and Mary (Ritchea) Watters, and son-in-law Myke Kalb.
Her career spanned several years as a beautician at various salons in the area, ending with her own salon at her home. She was a phlebotomist at the Adena Medical Center for several years. She served as poll worker for many elections.
She was a founding member of the Franklin Twp. Fire and Rescue department (1800), serving as both a Paramedic and Firefighter for several years. She was a former member of the Eagles. She served as an EMT at Waverly High School band camps. Her many hobbies included Knitting, Crocheting, Macrame, and other arts. She was an avid bowler, member of several leagues.
The family would like to thank the staff of Adena Hospice of Ross County and the staff at Wyngate assisted living in Circleville for their compassionate caring for Pat during her final months.
In celebration of both Patricia and Jerry, the family will receive friends on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Haller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, or a service charity of your choice.
