Patricia Anne Thomas, 82, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon, March 6, 2024 at her home.
She was born May 6, 1941 in Spring City, Tennessee, daughter of the late Philip and Dorothy (Stamps) Freeman. On May 29, 1964, she married her beloved husband, Joseph Thomas, who survives.
Also surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Bryan Huber; grandchildren, Mikala Findling, Erin Brown, and Elise Brown; great-granddaughter, Clairah Findling; son-in-law, Tim Brown; siblings, Charles Freeman, and wife Janice, and Betty Freeman Whitehead; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two beloved daughters, Leigh Anne Thomas Brown and Christie Jo Thomas.
After graduating from high school, she went on to earn her bachelor's degree in mathematics, and later worked as a computer programmer for NASA in Huntsville, Alabama. She later went on to work as a Bookkeeper for nearly 30 years at a local Optometrist office in Chillicothe before finally retiring from ClearSite Vision.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Haller Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
