Patricia Streitenberger

Patricia Lee Streitenberger, 85, of Chillicothe, passed away late Monday night, October 5, 2020 at Signature Healthcare in Chillicothe, following a brief illness.
She was born June 10, 1935 in Barberton, Ohio, daughter of the late Edward Lee and Ida May (Byers) Shaulis. She went on to marry Harold "Buck" William Streitenberger in April 20, 1955, and together they shared over 65 years of marriage.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her two children, Steven Lee Streitenberger, and Lora Lee Streitenberger-Purpero; as well as her beloved fur grandbaby, Romeo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two fur babies, Gigi and Pookey; and her three fur grand dogs, Jefe, Javier, Rosita.
Pat was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1953. She went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in elementary child education. She taught for many years and also worked at the Ohio University Chillicothe bookstore before retiring in 1994. One of her favorite hobbies was reading.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services. A private burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery at a later date.
