Patricia Stern

Patricia A. Stern, 86, died at 10:37pm on May 29, 2018, at Signature Healthcare, Chillicothe, following an extended battle with cancer.   She was born November 1, 1931, in East Liverpool, OH, to the late Wilbur "Boots" and Irene (Brown) Brooks. On July 2, 1950, she married Norman F. Stern, Sr., who preceded her in death September 3, 2016.   Surviving are her sons Norman Stern, Jr. and his fiancée Cindy Moore, both of Leipsic, OH, and Dan (Tami) Stern, Chillicothe; grandchildren Kendra Stern, of Chillicothe, and Dan (Erica) Stern, Jr., of Commercial Point, OH; great-grandchildren Toban Byrd, Serenity Umphries, Erianna Stern, Kendle Stern and Kenley Stern; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Judy (Chuck) Dyke, of East Liverpool; a brother Robert (Shirley) Brooks, of Texas; and her best friends Sue and Jim Salyers, Chillicothe. She was predeceased by her brother Jack Brooks.   Patricia was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church and a graduate of East Liverpool High School, Class of 1949. The family would like to thank the staff of Signature Healthcare and Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion given to Patricia.   At her request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
