Patricia Richter

Patricia Richter, a lifelong resident of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the age of 78.

Known for her warmth, love, and dedication to her family, Patricia was a beloved member of her community.

Born on May 9, 1947, Patricia was the cherished daughter of the late Donald and Jeannette Mary (Hale) Chenault. She was predeceased by her dear son, Rick Richter, her sister, Donna Chenault, and her brother, Donnie Chenault.

A devoted homemaker, Patricia's nurturing spirit was evident in everything she did. She found great joy in simple pleasures such as cross stitching, reading, and solving puzzles. Her passion for cross stitching was well recognized, as she won numerous awards at the Ross County Fair, showcasing her remarkable talent and attention to detail.

Above all else, Patricia valued her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love embodied by her son, Mike Richter, and his wife Michelle, who survive her; her cherished grandchildren, Bryant (Nicole) Dillon, Joshua Richter, and Nicky Richter; and her five treasured great-grandchildren.

She will also be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Vicki Chenault, and daughter-in-law, Sharon Richter. Patricia’s life was enriched by her time spent with family and friends, and the memories they created will be held dear by all who knew her.

At Patricia’s request, she has been cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date to celebrate her life and legacy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Patricia will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May the family take comfort in her enduring love and the everlasting friendships she shared.
