Patricia Lynn Kneisley, affectionately known as “Tish”, passed away early Saturday morning, August 1, 2026 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, following a brief illness.
She was born October 11, 1968, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold E. Kneisley and Wanda (Shotton) Kuhner, who survives.
Also surviving is her longtime companion, John Bechie, Jr.; beloved children and step-children, Kristin (Keith Johnson) Clark, Shanna (Jacob) Rothe, and Cameron (Madaline) Holley, Loriann (Issac) Kennedy, Mary Bechie, Clair (Daniel) Glenn, Carl (Ashley) Bechie, Angela Bechie; daughter-in-law, Savannah (Ford) Elam; siblings, Bessie (Dennis) Ray, Mike (Terri) Wedebrook, Ralph Wedebrook, and Bill (Jody) Wedebrook. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her favorite child, Kasey Elam, whom she missed so much; as well as three sisters: Georgette and Corrine (infant) and Wanda "Renee" Wedebrook.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was lovingly known as "Bobbi" to Reegan, Maddox, Ameelia, Kimber, and Maverick; "Mom-Mom" to Emmett and Emery; "Nana" to Jack; and "Grandma Tish" to James, Reagan, Gideon, Mason, Eliana, Adalyn, and Jennara. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and the love she poured into each of them will continue to live on through the countless memories they shared.
Tish also shared a special bond with her many nieces and nephews. She loved each of them dearly and cherished every opportunity to celebrate their milestones, make them laugh, and remind them how deeply they were loved. Her love for her family knew no bounds.
Tish dedicated her life to serving others. She proudly worked as a server, caregiver, medic, firefighter, and nurse. Caring for others wasn't simply her career—it was who she was. Whether she was caring for a patient, helping a stranger, supporting a friend, or loving her family, Tish gave of herself wholeheartedly.
To know Tish was to know someone with a contagious smile, a compassionate heart, and an unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. She had a way of making people feel safe, loved, and cared for, and her kindness left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
