Patricia J. Hunt, 76, of Chillicothe, passed away on Thursday evening, March 23, 2023 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
She was born January 1, 1947, in Havre de Grace, Maryland to the late James Glenn and Anna Pauline (Potter) England.
Surviving are her two children, Pandora (Robert Dupras) Shaw-Dupras, and Patrick (Katherin) Shaw; her grandchildren, Dylan Shaw, Hunter Shaw, Lena Garrett, and Scotlyn Gustin; 4 great-grandsons, and 4-great-granddaughters. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Steinman.
Patricia was an avid antique collector and an avid reader.
The family would like to give special recognition of the many people who helped in taking care of Patricia over the last several years including dear friends and neighbors such as Shela Blaney, Case Pollock, Melissa Mendenhall, Tammy Linton, and John Brembeck. They would also like to recognize the team of doctors, nurses, and staff at the Adena Regional Medical Center ICU for their love and care over the last week.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours. A private celebration of life service will be held by family at a future date.
In lieu of memorial contributions, family and friends are encouraged to donate to the Ross County Humane Society in support of her love for rescue dogs.
