Patricia Lynn Harris, 68, of Orrville, Ohio, passed away early Thursday morning, October 16, 2025 at the Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, following an extended illness.
She was born July 4, 1957, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (Beatty) Harris. On September 2, 1975, she married her beloved husband, Oakley Herman Scott, Jr., who preceded her in death on November 2, 1986.
Surviving are their children, Betina (John) Szakal, Julie Fyock, and Norma Scott; her siblings, Rosemary Brown, Linda Hatfield, Betty Winfield, and Lisa Richardson; numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and close friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Billy; and her sisters, Martha and Debbie.
Patricia attended Adena High School. She went on to become a devoted housewife and mother to her three daughters, tending to everyone's needs. In her free time, she loved solving Word Search puzzles, playing games, jigsaw puzzles, and especially enjoyed drinking her coffee. She also had a soft spot for cats.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the Original Glorious Church, with Pastor Mike Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may join the family for visitation from 11:00am until the time of the service.
