Patricia Diehl

March 23, 1939 — August 21, 2005

Patricia L. Diehl, 66, of Chillicothe, died Sunday August 21, 2005, at Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. Susan Bowers, best of friends, was by her side. She was born March 23, 1939, in Hamilton Co., OH to the late Ewell Clyde and Goldie Mae (Mitchell) Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother, Douglas E. Edwards. Pat was always cheerful and seemed to look for a sign from above. Pat had a strong faith as befits the children of God, Our Heavenly Father, who has his loving arms around Pat. She was a member of Our Lady of Lords Parish, Enola, PA, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Pat made the most of time. She really enjoyed gardening and growing all types of flowers. She loved watching television and enjoyed watching the birds, having several statues and fountains to attract them. She was always looking in a recipe book for that special dish of delight. She had several cats and loved them all dearly. She was known to get in on conference calls because she enjoyed talking to people. She has a three foot lighthouse in front with the light on to show the way. Pat graduated from Norwood High School in Cincinnati and then went on to Indiana University and Christ Hospital School of Nursing. Her work experience included working for several hospitals, including: Christ Hospital, Cincinnati; Altman Hospital, Canton, OH; and Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, OH. She also worked for America West Airlines and was a general manager for Skyline Chili. Cremation services were under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
