Patricia B. Davis Patricia B. Davis, 75, of Chillicothe, died 6:00 am, Monday, October 1, 2007, in her home, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Carol Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 Wednesday at Haller's. She was born December 25, 1931 in Ross Co. to Carl and Pearl Garrison Britton. On April 11, 1951 she married James R. Davis, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Carla (Rick) Ross, Mark (Laura) Davis, Myra (David) Cryder, Curt (Lisa) Davis, Beth (David) Carter, Jan (Ben) Wilson; her grandchildren, Jaymie (Brad) Wood, Kristen (her fiancé Corey Gillen) Hoops, Justin and Seth McClure, Dyllon Cryder, Brick Davis and Hunter Hightower, Weston, Brooke, Afton and Aubri Davis, Khalie, Taylor, and Davis Carter, and Jimmy Wilson; her great-grandchildren, Carly and Brady Wood, and Hayli McClure; two brothers, Garry (Joyce) Britton and Robert Britton; a sister-in-law, Elmira Britton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Hoyt Britton and sister-in-law Eunice Britton. Mrs. Davis retired after 35 years teaching in the Union-Scioto School District. She was an active and devoted member of the Yellowbud United Methodist Church, and a lay speaker for the Bluebird Parish. She volunteered for the Adena Health System, and had served as a 4-H Advisor for the Cheerful Buds Club.
