Patricia Dalton

Patricia A. Dalton, 83, of Chillicothe, died peacefully in her sleep at home on January 5, 2015. She was born March 21, 1931, in Harewood, WV, to the late Frank and Loretta (Harris) Diggs. On November 28, 1949, she married Edward W. Dalton, who preceded her in death on April 8, 1990. Surviving are their children: Edward Diggs (Sandra) Dalton, of Westerville, OH; Priscilla Lanier, of Cincinnati, OH; Paul (Jennifer) Dalton; and William Dalton, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Shawn (Shaunte) Lanier; Shannon (Chandra) Lanier; Jennifer Dalton; Jessica Dalton; great-grandchildren: Xavier Diggs Williams; Ramaya Williams; Madison Lanier; McKenzie Lanier; a brother and sister-in-law Frank (Charlene) Diggs, of Columbus; and a sister Jackie Pettiford, Chillicothe. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Eddie, and a sister Frances Shelby. Patsy was a graduate of Coalton High School, Class of 1949. She had worked at the Chillicothe Country Club and was employed at the Ross County Senior Citizens Center. She was a faithful member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, where she publically proclaimed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She participated in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, January 10, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 151 University Dr., with Rev. David Kane officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8pm Friday at the Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ross Co. Senior Citizens Center, 1824 Western Ave., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
