Patricia Faye Cottrill

Patricia “Patty” Faye Cottrill, 62, passed away early Thursday morning, February 19, 2026 at her home, following a brief illness.

She was born January 18, 1964, daughter of the late Marvin Elwood and Eva Fay (Simmons) Irvin. On September 17, 1982, she married her beloved husband, Robert A. Cottrill, who survives.

Also surviving is their daughter, Erin (Eli Park) Cottrill; beloved grandchildren, Leanore and Wyatt Park; two sisters, Pamela (Mark) Justice, and Teressa Felts; her sister-in-law, Jackie Irvin; a dear close family friend, Puddin Conkel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert “Robbie” M. Cottrill, her brother, Marvin Duane Cottrill, and her lifelong best friend, Laurie Webb.

Patty was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who took great pride in her family. She loved spending time outdoors, whether it was going fishing, camping, or spending time tending to her garden. She also had a knack for canning the vegetables that she grew. When she wasn’t outside, she could frequently be found rewatching the Harry Potter series and spending time with her family. Patty was also a proud member of the VFW Post 108 in Chillicothe.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 12:00pm until the time of the service to celebrate her life.
