Patricia Anderson

Patricia Y. Anderson, 82, died at 3:40pm January 30, 2018, at Signature Healthcare following an extended illness.   She was born September 5, 1935, in Pike County, OH to the late Bernard and Nellie (Spencer) Maple. On September 21, 1951, she married Dale E. Anderson, who survives.   Also surviving are their children: Brenda (Darren) Swingle; Cheryl (Jeffry) Snyder, all of Chillicothe; Curtis (Cindi) Anderson, Grove City; Trish (Greg) Sanders, Chillicothe; Marla (Kim) Graves, Ray, OH; Kevin Anderson, London, OH; Darin (Debbie) Anderson, Chillicothe; a daughter-in-law Linda Anderson, California; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister Sonja Byrd. She was predeceased by her son Michael "Mickey" Anderson; a sister Mona Walker; and 2 infant brothers.   Mrs. Anderson retired in 2000 as a food service manager from the Chillicothe City Schools and attended Jefferson Ave. CCCU. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed canning, gardening, quilting and being active in community service. She taught Sunday school and was instrumental in molding the Christian beliefs of many, many children.   The family would like to give special thanks to Adena Regional Medical Center 3A Staff, ICU, Signature Healthcare staff, and Heartland Hospice staff for their loving care and compassion.   Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday, February 5, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery.
