Patricia Alexander

April 2, 1939 — January 31, 2019

On January 31, 2019, at 3:00am, our beautiful mom slipped peacefully away in her sleep to be met by our father, who passed less than 4 months before. Pat was born April 2, 1939, the first of 10 children born to the late Frances and Carl Jones, Sr.   Left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss are her daughter Connie Alexander (Larry E. Vest, Jr.); son Joe Alexander; 2 granddaughters, whom she adored: Madison and McKenna; bonus family Dylan, Faith and Brooklyn Estep; brothers: Harvey (Linda) Jones, Robert "Bobby" Jones, Harry Jones and Paul Jones; a sister Irene (Tom) Hopkins; sisters-in-law: Mary Downs, Mary Jones, Constance Jones, Loretta Alexander, Helen Uhrig and Shirley (Ron) Saxton; brothers-in-law: Charlie (Linda) Alexander, Dean Alexander, and John (Bock) Alexander; so many loving friends, neighbors, and co-workers that she loved; a dear friend, whom she thought of as a sister, Dodie Nigh; and loving fur-baby Remington.   In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was predeceased by her in-laws Harriett and Harley Alexander; brothers: Carl "Fat Boy" Jones, Jr., John Jones, and Keith Jones; a sister Carlene; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Harley Alexander, Jr., Raymond and Phyllis Alexander, Naomi Alexander, Marlin Uhrig and Jim Alexander; and many other family members and friends.   Pat loved working. She started at Carrol's Potato Chips at the age of 16 and on to Bill Boatman & Co. along with Bob for 19 years. She then spent 24 years at Adena Regional Medical Center. Pat and Bob shared a love of antiques, flea markets and yard sales. That love led to 26 years of setting up at the Fall Festival of Leaves in Bainbridge and over 20 years at the Georgetown Antique Tractor Show. Mom was also an incredible cook, which she loved to share with everyone.   Thank you to all of her family and friends that stopped in to see her and prayed for her; the EMT's and Firefighters that were there for her; and her wonderful nurses and all the loving staff at Westmoreland Place. We truly appreciate your loving care of Mom.   Mom, I'm sure Dad was waiting in the swing until you got there.   At her request, there will be no services.
