Pamela J. Thomas, 68, of Chillicothe, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2018, at 5:59pm in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born January 4, 1950, in Chillicothe to Richard E. Johnson and Grace Thomas Harding. She was the proud mother of daughters Kyra Turner, Chillicothe, and Yolanda Kay Thomas, Blacklick, OH; an unbreakable bond with her mother Grace Harding, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Keisha Hazzard, Ciera (Nathan) Woodworth, Brieana Thomas, and Jada Fain; great-grandchildren: Arieana Turner, and Uriah, Grace, Jobe Woodworth; beloved brother Bill (Tina) Thomas, Chillicothe; nieces Tonya (Steve) Bayless, Michele (Brad) Valentine, and Billie Sanyang; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father. Pam was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1968. She dedicated her compassion and commitment for over 40 years at Heartland of Chillicothe as a CNA and she attended the Glorious Church of God. Pam took great pride in baking and cooking for others, always delivering it with a smile, and especially loved taking care of others. We will celebrate her life with a funeral service at 1pm Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Glorious Church of God, 123 W. Main St., Chillicothe, with Bishop Melvin Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 11am until 1pm Thursday at the church.
