Pamela K. Smith, 82, of Chillicothe, died at 9:03pm January 19, 2026, at Hospice of Central Ohio, Columbus, following an extended illness.
She was born September 1, 1943, in Chillicothe, to the late Robert E. and Myrtle M. (Lutz) Faulkner. On May 29, 1983, she married Donald E. “Hog” Smith, who preceded her in death on July 25, 2016.
Pam is survived by her son, Scott R. Faulkner; grandson Mitchell N. Faulkner, both of Grand Rapids, MI; her sister and brother-in-law Diana L. (Larry) Simpson, of Chillicothe; step-daughter Donna Smith; sister-in-law Susan Faulkner, Fairview Park, OH; nieces: Kandie Brantley, Michele Imbodem, Lisa Ortman; nephews: Bradley (Stephanie) Simpson, Troy Simpson, David (Kathy) Wickline; cousins: Vicki (Emmitt) Hempstead, Darlene (Chris) Long, Valerie Myer, Vanessa Gilmore, Mike Lutz; extended family in Circleville; a life-long friend Bette Thomas, and close friend Anita Donahue, Pt. Pleasant, WV. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Gary Faulkner; and a niece Kimberly Faulkner.
Pam was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1964. She had worked as an operator at DuPont in Circleville, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, the Chillicothe Evening Lioness Club, the Eagles, Aerie 600, and the Moose Lodge. Don and Pam loved camping and riding motorcycles.
At her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral. Following cremation, private inurnment will be held at Grandview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
