Pamela Anne (Tackett) Crabtree Pamela Anne (Tackett) Crabtree, 46, of Chillicothe, died at 1:45pm Wednesday, September 27, 2006, in her home following an 11 year battle with cancer. She was born March 14, 1960, in Chillicothe, to William J. and Mildred (Jenkins) Tackett. On May 27, 1984, she married Sam Crabtree, who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Mildred Tackett; maternal grandmother Gertrude M. Jenkins; brothers: W. Michael (Liza) Tackett; Jeffrey E. (Janie) Tackett; sisters Patsy (Kevin) Pancake; Kathy (Thomas) Whitten; and Donna (Randy) Cooper; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jerry Crabtree; Christy Detillion; Becky and Roger Drummond; Connie and Johnnie Drummond; several aunts, uncles, 12 nephews, 10 nieces, and her beloved cats, Sparky and Yodi. She was predeceased by her father, William Junior Tackett; grandfathers M.C. Tackett and Ruby E. Jenkins; her grandmother, Tealie Tackett; and uncles Lawrence (Bud) Jenkins and Stanley Tackett. Pam was Salutatorian, Adena High School, Class of 1978. Until her illness, she was office manager and insurance agent for Neil Coleman Insurance Agency. She was a Certified Insurance Counselor. Pam was on the Board of Directors of Camp Cattail where she served as Treasurer. She was also on the Board of Directors for First Capital Darters and she was a 10-time Central Ohio Darters All-Star. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Saturday, September 30, at Haller Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Wible officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call from 5-8pm Friday at Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Adena Health Foundation, Home Health Charity, 272 Hospital Rd., Chillicothe.
