You made it Ott "Sonny" Baker. Surrounded by family and loved ones, Sonny went with his Lord and Savor May 24, 2022. A native of Ross Co., he was born June 11, 1942 to the late Ott C. and Elizabeth (Penrod) Baker.
Sonny was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Renia (Lambert) Baker, son Ott G. Baker, and two great-grandchildren, Raianna Fields, and Peppy Bartow Baker. He leaves behind two sisters, Elaine Mulford, and Dorothy (Brother Johnny) Strouse; two daughters, Tonda (Bob) Vanderpool, and Treva Baker; a son, Jesse (Amy) Baker; daughter-in-law, Emily Baker; five grandchildren, Sunny (Richard) Fields, Shaina (Drew) Palda, Jonathan (Megan) Vanderpool, Megan (Eric) Hamm, and Dustin Ott Baker; seven great-grandchildren, Owen and Adrienne Palda, Harmony (mother Heather Taylor), Bobby Ott, Charolette (Charlie) Vanderpool, Wyatt Park, and Xander Edward; three sisters-in-law, Brigitte (Kitty) Lambert, Theresa (Jim) Joslyn, and Kathy (Brother Mike) Ogan. Sonny also had special friends during his life, Danny Pritchard, Jean and Pam Seymour, and Paul Stewart. His adopted families, Diane and Janice Spetnagel, Sandy Tackett, Billy, Elizabeth, Little Billy, and Kylinn Sanford, Cherryl, Ian, Brody (Paige) Olson, Amanda Skaggs, Gracie Moss, Seth Seymour, Leslie Phills, and a whole bunch of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Sonny was an avid member of the Community of Christ Church and retired from CCI in 2000. He loved God, family, friends, and farming his cows. He also loved riding motorcycles; especially his yellow spider, he would take rides with his buddies and get footlong hotdogs. Sonny was loved by so, so many and will be missed greatly.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Harry Harrel officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Friends may join the family on Wednesday evening from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
