Othel Kysor

Othel Kysor, 89, of Chillicothe, Ohio, went home to be in the arms of our Lord and Savior on May 25, 2026. She was born on October 17, 1936 to the late Aaron and Dorothy Preston in Virgie, Kentucky. In November 1989, she married Paul Kysor, who preceded her in death on April 13, 2009.

She was a long time member of the First Capital Christian Church of Chillicothe, Ohio, where she was involved in the womens group.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Dennis) Cable, of Hebron, Ohio, Arkie (Debbie) Fouts, of Van Lear, KY, Ernie (Evelyn) Fouts, of Akeley, MN, Chris (Terry) Woodgeard, of Jackson, Ohio, Tina (Ed) Barnhill, of Grove City, Ohio, and Lydia (Scott) McClaskey, of Cincinnati, Ohio; eight siblings, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Othel Fouts.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, at the Haller Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Haller Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Elk Cemetery at 2:30pm, in McArthur, Ohio, with Pastor Paul Snoddy and James Spinnati officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to National Church Residences Hospice, Chillicothe, Ohio.
