Ora George

Ora Kathryn George, 94, of Clarksburg, died 8:15 pm Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Traditions of Chillicothe. She was born December 13, 1919 in Ross Co. the daughter of the late Lafayette and Carrie Jane Downing. She married Verner Francis George on February 17, 1941, who preceded her in death on March 9, 1966. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ray and Phyllis Justice, of Clarksburg, two grandchildren, Becky Creed of Clarksburg and Janet Smith of Chillicothe; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers. Mrs. George was a member of the Clarksburg United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel (Deerfield Twp.) Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Haller's.
