Oliver Grubb

Oliver Dale Grubb, 73, of Chillicothe, died 6:30 pm, Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness. He was born May 10, 1941 to the late Howard and Mauna Hardbarger Grubb. Survivors include a son, Dale Lee (Michelle) Grubb Jr.; daughters, Dynell (Ron) Wiess and Kim (Brent) Free; 8 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty (Fred) Johnson and a sister-in-law, Shelba (Grubb) Kellough; numerous cousins including a special cousin, Delmus Hardbarger; several nieces; nephews; and friends, including special neighbors Harvey, Johnny and Elsie, as well as his nurses and aides. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Grubb and a brother, Carl Grubb. Private graveside services will be held in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Harrisville, WV, at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will not be observed.
