Olive Minnix

Olive Louise Minnix, 86, of Chillicothe, died 8:48 am, Friday, February 27, 2015 at National Church Residences-Chillicothe, following an extended illness. She was born October 1, 1928 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Sam and Agnes Conley Johnson. On June 22, 1947 she married Beryl L. Minnix, who died December 12, 2011. Survivors include her sons, David (Donna) Minnix and Joseph (Deborah) Minnix, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Abigail (Mitch) Wilson, Corbin (Beth) Minnix, Dr. Bill (Heather) Sever, Nate (Jennifer) Sever, and Amy (Todd) Moore; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Brett Moore, Caroline and Audrey Sever, and Aiden Wilson; and four brothers, Earl, Sammy, Gail and Paul Johnson; and a sister, Susie Clemmons. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathryn Craig, Nora Williams, Beatrice Coldiron and Dianna Dunn; and two brothers, Clarence and Ralph Johnson. Mrs. Minnix retired in 1988 from the F. W. Woolworth Co., where she worked as a personnel supervisor and a buyer. She was a member of the Adena Road Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call 11-1 Tuesday at Haller's.
