th
, 2024 Normajean Hutton, age 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. At Heavens gate she had a joyous reunion with Ralph (Gene), her husband of 68 years, and two of her sons, Dana Bruce and Mark. Also preceding her in death were her parents Fred and Mabel (Sipe) Gladman, three brothers Cecil, Darrell, and Roger Gladman, and best friend Tori.
Normajean was born on March 3, 1935 in Troy, Ohio. She married Ralph E. (Gene) Hutton on June 16, 1951 in Hamden, Ohio. She is survived by three sons, Steven (Opal), Gregory (Melissa) and Kyle (Mel) Hutton, all of Chillicothe; five grandchildren, Dana (Tawonna), Chad, Jason (Tiffany), Nicole, and Ross (Jordan) Hutton; eight great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Kailani, Kanin, Peyton, Taylor, Cooper, Sophie, and Emma Hutton; sister, Sheila (Ed) Casto of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Normajean's faith was strong. Over the years, she played the piano and sang in several gospel groups. Although her health prevented her from attending in later years, she always considered the Richmond Dale Church of God to be her church. The church of her "heart".
Normajean retired from the Chillicothe V.A. in 1997. She loved music, flowers, and crafts. But, anyone that knew Normajean knew that her greatest love was "her boys".
