Nita Metzger

Nita L. Metzger died July 25, 2009 at the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born January 29, 1940 in Ross Co. to Orville and Opal Brown Vest. She was the widow of Donald E. Metzger. Survivors include two sons, Mark (Christi) and Jay Metzger; grandchildren, Michael, Josh, Jon and Alli; five great-grandchildren; and had a special pet, Danny. Nita was employed by the Chillicothe City Schools for over 35 years. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved her family vacations. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday in the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 today at Haller's and one hour prior to the funeral.
