Nina Reynolds

Nina Mae Good Reynolds, 90, of Chillicothe, died 8:56 am, December 12, 2018, at National Church Residences-Chillicothe, with her daughter and son at her side, following a brief illness.   She was born April 7, 1928 in Greenwood, AR to the late Virgil V. and Mintie Mae Bassett Been. She married Earl Reynolds, who preceded her in death. Survivors include two children, Bonnie Cory, Frankfort and Jack Good, Columbus; grandchildren, Brian and Kevin (Rachel) Cory, Kim (Todd) Puckett, Kenneth (Jody) Good, Beth (William) Harmon, Doug (Penny) and Jeremy Good; great-grandchildren, Tyler, McKenzie and Lila Cory, Tory Cope, Kyle Puckett, Kohl and Hayden Good, and Colton Harmon; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Black, Tulsa, OK; a step-daughter, Marie Daniels, of Chillicothe; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Good, Kingston; nephews, Steve (Marilyn), David, Gary, Jerry, and Michael Been; and special lifelong friends, Kitty Hess and Jim VanGundy. She was preceded in death by two children, Kenneth and Douglas Good; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Good; four siblings, Elliot, Dewell, Elton and Kenneth Been.   Mrs. Reynolds retired in 1987 after 32 years service as a Medical Administration Officer for the VA Medical Center-Chillicothe. She was a member of the Moose Auxiliary 666, an avid standard bred race horse fan and owner, enjoyed doing word search puzzles and going to the city park with her daughter to watch the ducks. She was Ross County's longest living cancer survivor and will be remembered for her kindness to others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.   Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
