Neil Eugene McKinney, 79, of Chillicothe, passed away on Friday evening, July 25, 2025 at the Logan Elm Health Care Center in Circleville, following an extended illness.
He was born July 13, 1946, in Chillicothe, son of the late Donald Homer and Bernice Violet (Bell) McKinney.
Surviving are his siblings, Ella M. Neff, Marilyn Wisecup, and Harold McKinney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris (Bob) Skeens, and his brother, Glen McKinney.
Neil had a deep love for dogs throughout his lifetime.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Logan Elm Health Care Center, and to the Heartland Hospice staff for all their love shown to Neil.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Greenlawn Cemetery.
