He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he served the Lord for many years until his illness prevented it. He could be seen every summer mowing at the church, which he fully enjoyed. He loved helping anyone who needed help and working on cars, painting them to perfection. He also enjoyed watching the Buckeyes on TV and traveling with friends to many places. He will be sorely missed by his big family and all who knew him. A special thanks to his special caregivers Jackie, Leenie, Maria and Laurel, who went above and beyond to meet his every need and keep him smiling during difficult times. Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, March 22, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, with Pastors Harry Ramsey and Don Ringer officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. John 14:2-3, "I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, you may be also."
