Neil Carter

Neil T. Carter, 78, of Chillicothe, died 6:40 pm, January 26, 2014 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was born April 4, 1935 in Chillicothe to the late Carl T. and Elizabeth Wellinghoff Carter. He married Carolyn Sue Meadows who preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie (Joseph) Strausbaugh, Dublin, OH and Karen (Richard) Netter, Chillicothe; a son, Thomas Carter, Largo, FL; a grandchild, Bradley Eblin; and a special step-daughter, Charlena (Brian) Woodfork. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Boyce. Mr. Carter retired from the Mead Paper Company. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing Euchre. Graveside funeral services, conducted Roger Webb and the US Air Force will be held 11:00 am Thursday in the Dayton National Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed.
