Neil Bethel

Neil Roger Bethel, 79, of Frankfort, passed 12:45 am, April 17, 2015, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born March 1, 1936 in Chillicothe to the late James and Opal Hawk Bethel. Surviving is his loving daughter Rebecca Sue Bethel, with whom he resided; a daughter, Diana Rulestead, of Frankfort; granddaughter, Autumn (Josh) Dunn, of Frankfort; great-grandchildren, Jordyn-Leigh Lillian Starcher and Jacob Dunn; several nephews whom he was close to, Dave, Dean, Dwight and Colonel Bethel; and special friends Andy Crystal and Haylie Everhart. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don, Gerald and Cecil. Mr. Bethel was a US Army and Navy Veteran. He was an electrician and carpenter and belonged to the BTJ Pipefitters Local 042. He was a life member of AMVETS Post 4 and a member of the American Legion Post 757. Military honors will be conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard 3:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home. Calling hours will follow from 3-7 pm Tuesday.
