Naomi Wells

Naomi J. Wells, 92, of Frankfort, passed away at Westmoreland Place at 12:40am on Friday, May 29, 2009. She was born March 30, 1917, in Toledo, OH, to the late Charles M. and Cora M. McClure Woodward. On November 12, 1938, she married Clifford E. Wells, who preceded her in death on January 13, 1998. She is survived by their two daughters, Sandra Lynn B. Heino, of Highland, MI; and Maryl (James) Greening, Frankfort, OH; she was also blessed with 5 grandchildren: April, Alec, Anthony, James and Beth; 6 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Naomi was a bookkeeper at Standard Detroit Paint Co., an avid seamstress and loved the piano. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Chillicothe. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, June 2, at the Hosanna Lutheran Church, 23019 Kellogg Rd, Grand Rapids, OH, with Pastor Joel Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Hockman Cemetery in McClure, OH, the town settled by her great-grandfather. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 151 University Dr., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
