Naomi Fleischer

Naomi Wolfe Fleischer, 85, of Chillicothe, died Monday, April 9, 2013, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born June 4, 1927 in New York, NY to the late Henry and Pauline Tabb Wolfe. On February 14, 1948 she married Dr. Stephen Fleischer, who survives. Also surviving are three children, David Fleischer, of Los Angeles, Amy Fleischer-Brown, of Columbus, and Ivy (Anthony) Kupec, of Washington DC; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Martin. Mrs. Fleischer was a graduate of Brooklyn College. She was very busy in a variety of activities. She founded a mother's club, an investment club, conducted a French tutorial, and belonged to a French discussion group. She was active with the League of Women Voters and the American Association of University Women. She helped implement the formation of the Frontier Group by selecting the Chief Operating Officer for them, all while being a "jack of all trades" at home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 8, 2012 at the Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adena Health Foundation, Friends of Hospice, 111 W. Water St., Chillicothe, OH 45601, or the donor's favorite charity.
