Naomi Bunch

Naomi J. Bunch, 81, of 173 Locust St., Chillicothe, passed from earth to glory 4:24 pm, Monday March 28, 2022, at Adena Regional Medical Center.

She was born on October 29, 1940, in Ross Co., to Ellsworth and Clara J. (Wingo) Dixon. On February 25, 1959, she married Harvey D. Bunch, who passed April 30, 2001.  Surviving are her daughter, Lynn Ann Bunch; two sons, Curtis and Bradley Bunch, Chillicothe, two grandchildren; Brooklyn Adkins, Raleigh N.C., and Teisha Ganino, Lebanon, four great grandchildren; Tharon and Jayden Adkins, Raleigh N.C., Ninneveh and Ahkendal Rue, Lebanon; sister Janice Henry, Xenia; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of special friends.  She was preceded in death by her father and mother; a son, Dwight Bunch; three sisters, Gloria Jones, Joyce Harris, Barbara Harris; two brothers, James E. and Harold Lavon Dixon.

Naomi retired from Adena Regional Medical Center, where she worked in food services, in 2005 after 34 years of service.  She was a lifelong member of Zion Baptist Church where she served in the Joy Ministry. She enjoyed cross word puzzles, traveling with groups from church and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were the joy of her life.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday at Zion Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. J. Troy Gray officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
