Nancy Moreland

Nancy Jo "Mickey" Moreland, 75, of Chillicothe, died 4:24 pm, February 12, 2014, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.   She was born October 22, 1938 in Chillicothe to the late Gerald A. and Eva Eubanks Mason. On September 21, 1957 she married Ralph J. Moreland, who died in 1985. Survivors include two daughters, Scarlett (Doug) Payne, Chillicothe and Eva (David) Volkin, North Attleboro, MA; two grandchildren, Rachel and Heather Volkin; and two sisters, Letalee "Prissy" Cottrill, Chillicothe and Shirley Neff, Frankfort; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Gerald Mason, Eva Eubanks Mason, Martha Schmidt, Gerald Mason II, John Mason, Evelyn Mae "Polly" Davis and Roseann McLean.   Mrs. Moreland was an avid Gone With The Wind collector and had worked for the Chillicothe Telephone Co., Harts Department Store, and WalMart.   Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call 5-7 pm Monday at Haller's.
