Nancy Looney

Nancy L. Looney, 78, of Chillicothe, passed away at 8:38am on February 21, 2017, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. She was born June 14, 1938, in Chillicothe, to the late Clifford and Evelyn (Huffman) Fitzer. On June 21, 1957, she married Robert Looney who survives. Also surviving are their children, Kip (Kristin) Looney, of Ray, and Krista (Jerrod) Herald, of Chillicothe; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Anstine and Kara Anstine, both of Tennessee, and Justin Herald and Jeremy Herald, both of Chillicothe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Looney, and her sister, Marilyn Massie. Nancy enjoyed working for the Ross County Senior Citizens Center and also Meals on Wheels when she was able. She was a member of the Chillicothe Baptist Church and loved working at the Vacation Bible School in the summer. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and solving word search puzzles. Calling hours will be held from 11:00am until 12:30pm on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Haller Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 12:30pm with Pastor John Burris officiating. A private graveside will be held at a later date.
