Nancy Latshaw

Nancy Loretta Latshaw, 42, of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday morning, June 29, 2017, following a courageous 6 year battle with cancer. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 15, 1975, to Dale Holley and Goldie (Rodgers) Six. On August 24, 2000, she married Barry Corwin Latshaw, Jr., who survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Jessica Kernaghan, of Greenfield; her brothers, William (Courtney) Holley, and Michael (Angela) Holley; and her sister, Cathy (Robert) Halasz. Nancy worked with the Gap retail stores for more than 10 years before her illness prevented her from continuing. In her free time she enjoyed making quilts and cross-stitching. She was also known for her cooking and baking abilities; as many of her friends would have special requests for the delicious treats she could create. She was a kind and gentle person who cared for anyone and anything she came into contact with. Her love of animals and cats particularly, made her home a safe haven for animals in need of food and shelter. She will be truly missed by all who had the opportunity of knowing her. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the Haller Funeral Home with her husband, Barry Latshaw officiating. A private burial in the Rodgers Family Cemetery will follow. Friends may call from 11:00am on Saturday until the time of the service.
