Nancy Hines

Nancy L. Hines, 72, of Chillicothe, died Monday morning, December 16, 2013 at her home. She was born March 29, 1941 in McArthur to the late Ernest and Mildred Johnson Thompson. On July 18, 1959 she married James A. Hines, who died July 2, 2003. Survivors include her three sons, Jimmy and Josh (Alicia) Hines, both of Chillicothe and George Hines, of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Dillon, Jarron, Gage, Hunter, and Michael; a brother, George Thompson, of McArthur; a sister, Emma (William) Bryan, of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and six brothers and sisters. Mrs. Hines worked for Rubbermaid, US Shoe and most recently, McDonald's. She loved to cook and bake, as well as visit with friends. Her culinary talents will be missed. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm at the Haller Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00pm. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Charleston Church of the Brethren (Dunkard Hill) Cemetery.
