Nancy Ann Hart, 69, of South Salem, died October 25, 2022 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
She was born July 4, 1953 in Chillicothe to the late Woodrow J. and Edith K. Woods Smith. On September 20, 1971 she married George W. Hart, who survives. Also surviving are 4 children, George W. Hart, Jr., South Salem, Erma (Aaron) Haggard and Ezra (Emily) Hart, both of Chillicothe and Ann (Kendall) Evans, of Bainbridge; 7 grandchildren, Alaythia, George III, and Callie Hart, Caroline Haggard, and Zeb, Stephanie and Wendall Evans; siblings, Alvin (Dolly) Smith and Alma (Doug) Shoemaker, Greenfield, Jeannie and Leroy Price, Everett Thoroughman and Mary Smith, South Salem, Candy Thoroughman, Washington CH, and Billy (Angie) Thoroughman, Chillicothe; a daughter-in-law, Kiah Hart; and sister and brothers-in-law, Kenny (Pam), Charles and Bill Hart. She was preceded in death by 2 children, Baby Ben and Barbara Brooks; a grandchild, Bethany Evans; and 2 siblings, Jonathan and James Smith.
Nancy was a member of Sunnyside Church and formerly worked for Kmart and as a cook for Valley View Care Center. She was a 1971 graduate of Chillicothe High School.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life service will be held 11:30 am, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Bourneville Christian Union Church.
