Nancy Ann Clark left this world on January 12, 2018 to meet her Savior in Heaven after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born September 4, 1959 in Chillicothe. She is survived by her husband, Stan Clark; daughters, Alicia Hanners and Jordan Clark; grandchildren, Austin, Luke and Mia Hanners; her mother, Diane (Sam) Carnes; a sister, Beth (Joe) Motes; a niece, Micah Motes; her step-mother, Jane Knight; step-brothers and sisters, Randy Wittkugle, Linda Smith, Kim McEowen, Jason Knight and Kim Carnes; and a sister-in-law, Billie Clark. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Knight and son-in-law, Brad Hanners. Nancy was a graduate of Waverly High School and an member of the 1979 girls basketball team, that made it to the regional tournament. She was the owner of Chicago Title of Ross County; president-elect of the Chillicothe Noon Rotary; past-president of the Ross Co. Humane Society; and a affiliate member of the Scioto Valley Association of Realtors. All who knew her will remember her smile and her big heart. She was a lover of animals, but especially horses. She had bred and owned Western and Harness horses. She also raised Weimaraner dogs. She had a way about her that could tame the wildest of animals, and they all loved her. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Jason Link and Pastor Mark Pfiefer officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
